You dared,

and you changed a piece of the world.

This video

is my promise to you

Self-publishing an eBook is not for the faint-hearted. Not only is there no support network, as in traditional publishing, but there’s the challenge of making our books professional from start to finish. The formatting, the cover, the blurb, the author landing page, the marketing.

Because there are lots of scary-bad eBooks out there, and it's up to us to make sure ours don't fall into that category.

I work with both American English and British English style conventions, and my focus is to provide very cost-effective and professional line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services. This means you can concentrate your energy on all the other stuff you have to do and not worry about the editing.

My passion is to give support and promote quality in the eBook community, so you'll find a number of resources and lots of information here. I hope they'll help and encourage you on your journey. Don't forget to visit the Freebies and Special Offers tabs too.

Click on “Say Hi” if you need some TLC or want to get onto my mailing list. And let me know if I can help you with the technicalities of line editing, copy editing, and proofreading.

So sit back and have a look around.

About Me

My name is Joy Sephton, and I live in Johannesburg, in South Africa. This means my fees are very competitive because I charge South African rates.

I work in accordance with American English and British English style conventions, depending on which your story needs.

I studied English Literature, English Language, Linguistics, and Education at Rhodes University, and I have nearly twenty years of experience in training and writing in the areas of business skills, business writing, and self-editing.

I also write extensively in my own capacity.

I now provide line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services to people who are writing and self-publishing eBooks. I've been editing and proofreading for around fifteen years in the areas of fiction, and non-fiction including memoir and academic texts.
